My name is Sarah Hinsley and I’m a certified Master of Yoga, graduated at Yoga Vedanta Forest Academy, 2005.
My Life Path
I have trained in Hatha Yoga, Astanga Yoga, Sivananda Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga and with The British Wheel of Yoga. I am also a fully qualified Thai Yoga Massage therapist since 2006.
My most influential teacher has been my own body: with EDS I can easily do the splits and touch my toes so when I first came to the practice of yoga asana I immediately felt rewarded for my innate flexibility! Oh… but how wrong was I… and how my ego was crushed!
Following years of injury, chronic pain, subluxations, doctors and hospital appointments I (very) slowly learnt how to be internally mindful of my own body and practice non-violence towards myself. Yoga emphasizes direct experience and observable results through the practice of personal enquiry and exploration and it was so that I embarked on the most interesting journey of Self Enquiry.
